Aviva Robinson, a Bloomfield Hills artist who works primarily on paper, recently became a member of the board of the American Craft Museum in New York and the Michigan Humane Society Debra Darvick, a writer from Birmingham, has been awarded a residency at the Ragdale Foundation, an internationally acclaimed artists community located in Lake Forest, Ill. This honor was bestowed upon Darvick in recogni- tion of outstanding quality of work. A Ragdale residency allows artists to maximize artistic work potential. At Ragdale, Darvick will work on her book-in-progress, tentatively titled A Jewish Life, Fifty-Two Stories of Joy, Meaning and Connection.
