entertainment, dinner and White House
correspondent Helen Thomas as fea-
tured speaker.
The Austins have
volunteered for many
charities and commu-
nal groups. She has
been a director, volun-
teer, trustee or officer
of the Michigan
Opera Theater,
Dale Austin
Alzheimer's
Association, American
Lung Association and
Albion College. He is a physician and
surgeon with various honors, appoint-
ments and publications.
Mary Lou and Mort Zieve and Judie
and Roger Sherman are the evening's co-

Dalgleish Oldsmobile Cadillac

Class Schedule

Jewish Association for Residential
Care (JARC) and Jewish Vocational
Service (JVS) announce the 1999-
2000 schedule for the Nora and Guy
Barron C.L.A.S.S. (Community
Learning And Special Services) Series.
The series runs Sept. 8 through
June 7. Each class costs $25 and
meets for six sessions.
C.L.A.S.S. offers courses in life
skills for older teenagers and adults
with developmental disabilities.
Topics include food preparation, low-
impact exercise and relationship
skills. Admission is on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
C.L.ATS.S. will take place 6:30-
7:45 p.m. Wednesdays at the JVS
Building, 29699 Southfield Road,
Southfield. For information, call
