At the age of 47, Mrs. Weisman went back to school and received her bache- lor's and master's in teaching and taught at the Helen Fields school in Detroit. She was a volunteer for Ford Hunger March and as well as a teacher to immi- grants. She was a member of the Jewish Parents Institute, the Pleasant Lake Improvement Association and sang in the Jewish Folk Chorus.
