rr 17 Holiday Hospitality In an effort to help out-of-town Jewish medical students and doctors celebrate the High Holidays, the Maimonides Society for Jewish physicians will sponsor its Holiday Hospitality Network with Pro- Detroit. Young doctors and medical students will be invited into the homes of local Jewish physicians to celebrate Rosh HaShana, erev Yom Kippur and break-the-fast. Sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's Community Outreach and Education Department, the Maimonides Society seeks to strengthen bonds with the Jewish community and Israel through edu- cational, social and charitable activi- ties. The Pro-Detroit program gives young adults age 22-35 a connection to the local social, cultural and employment scene. Its mission is to make metro Detroit a desirable option.
