was excited "to be a part of the
future of a great institution that
we know will benefit many gen-
erations." Referring to the facility
just dedicated in their name, he
smiled and said: "There are not
many chances to do something
this significant."
The new area includes a heat-
ed swimming pool and deck area,
protected from above by an over-
hang. Overhead lights allow for
pool parties in the -evening.
Jo-Lynne Rosenstein, who
attended the celebration with her
cousins Joni Pevos and Carole
Ebner, called the camp "a won-
derful, happy, marvelous place
for children and their families."
The three are nieces of the late
Sarah and Irving C. Mahler, in
whose names the 27,000-square-
foot Sara and Irving Mahler
