liAT hile most of the adults
walked up the steep
concrete ramp, Ezra
Drissman was darting
around the slower crowd to reach the
awe-inspiring view he sought.
"I love the ramps," the 18-year-old
Drissman said, pointing toward the
dirt-and-grass diamond at Tiger
Stadium. "It's the anticipation of get-
ting to your seat and seeing the field."
Drissman was among 75 baseball
fans and history buffs taking part in the
Jewish Historical Society of Michigan's
second annual Tiger Stadium tour,
which began with a breakfast and slide
show at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield
Township. Irwin Cohen, a former
Detroit Tigers employee and Detroit
historian, narrated the slide show
