Kimberly Williams
Williams and Eric Cohen
were recently married at Camp Tanuga
in Kalkaska. Beatrex Quntanna of
California officiated along with George
Arenivar of Missouri.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon
Williams. The groom is the son of
Maurice and Margo Cohen.
The ceremony took place outdoors
around a Native American medicine
wheel. Samara (Sammie) Johnson,
great-granddaughter of band leader

Sammy Woolf, was the flower girl;
Brandon Hagenbush was ring bearer.
Harriet Berg and Margo Cohen,
Festival Dancers of the Jewish
Community Center, performed a
Yemenite wedding dance along with
Bunny Nickamin, Bonnie Woolf and
Joanne Forbes, all former festival
dancers.
The couple plan to honeymoon in
Hawaii for the millennium.

Katkowsky-Geesin

Michelle Dana Katkowsky and Troy
Christopher Geesin were married recent-
ly, at the Heritage Center grand ball-
room in Battle Creek. Rabbi Miriam
Jerris and Father William Fitzgerald offi-
ciated.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Fran
Kay of Farmington Hills. The bride's
proud grandparents are Joseph and
Mary Schwartz of Farmington Hills and
Pearl Katkowsky of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gerald Geesin of Bartle Creek.
Elizabeth Cartsonis, friend of the
bride, was the maid of honor. The best
man was Kevin Geesin, the groom's

brother. Bridesmaids were Lisa Downey,
sister of the groom, Missy Langnes,
Megan Swain and Jennifer Schanf.
Junior bridesmaids were Sharon Alpert,
Jessica Weisberg. Flower girls were Carly
Alpert and Madeline Weisberg, all
cousins of the bride. The ring bearer was
Zachary Downey nephew of the groom.
Groomsmen/ushers were Terry Alpert,
uncle of the bride; Gerald Geesin;
Patrick Lally, friend of the bride and
groom; and Robert Downey, brother-in-
law of the groom.
Following an eight-day honeymoon
in Maui, Hawaii, the couple reside in
Grand Rapids.
