MID Names New Directors Robyn Grauer has been appointed program director at Hillel of Metro Detroit and Alissa Parker is the new campus director at Eastern Michigan University Hillel. While living in Cleveland, Grauer participated in the Cleveland Summer Internship Program in Jewish Communal Service, working at the Cleveland Hillel Foundation and the Jewish Community Center of Cleveland. She received a bachelor of arts in Judaic studies from the University of Cincinnati. At HMD, she will work with the students on the campuses of Wayne State University, Oakland University, Oakland Community College and Lawrence Technological University as well as with young adults throughout the metropolitan area. EMU Hillel is affiliated with HMD. Parker attended the University of Michigan, working for university housing for four years. She was active in the Project JOIN (Jewish Occupational Intern) program though Jewish Vocational Service in Southfield and has remained active in Jewish commu- nal work. In 1995, Parker worked for the Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Federation of Washtenaw County as the event coordinator and the assistant to the director. HMD will host programs for col- lege students and young adults this fall.
