you have to keep up with the rest of
the class, and participate in the discus-
sion sections, which use a computer
bulletin board format.

Classes don't require an extensive
background in Jewish study, but you
should know the basics. Here's the
way the Bar-Ilan folks delicately put
it: "We would assume you know what -
