MORLEY SILVERMAN, 78, of
Oak Park, died July 15.
Mr. Silverman, a native of
Winnipeg, was a Canadian veteran
of World War II. He owned Mr.
Morley's Home Remodeling Co. in
Detroit. He was a member of the
Knights of Pythias and a leader of a
local TOPS weight-control group.
He is survived by his wife of 49
years, Irene Silverman; daughters
and son-in-laws Bunny and Alan
Silverman-Fisher of San Jose, Calif.,
Shelly and Gerry Silverman-Maddox
of Oak Park; son and daughter-in-
law Randy and Amy Silverman of
Farmington Hills; brothers and sis-
ters-in-laws Sidney and Lillian
Silverman of Southfield, Allan and
Mary Silverman of Southfield,
Marion Silverman of Winnipeg;
grandchildren Chris, Keyanna,
Carinne, Ashley, Evan, Harrison and
Bryan.
He was the beloved brother of the
late Benny Silverman and the loving
son of the late Louis and the late
Lena Silverman.
Chapel services and interment at
Machpelah Cemetery. Contributions

El, 1010 University Ave., San Jose,

HERMAN STREIT, 83, of
Bloomfield Hills, died July 17.
Mr. Streit was a insurance consul-
tant. He also wrote insurance text-
books for the C.L.U. degree, was a
past master and chaplain of Mosaic
Perfection Lodge and traveled
throughout the U.S. teaching
Masonic rituals.
Mr. Streit is survived by his wife,
Dorothy Streit; daughters and sons-
in-law Suzanne an Daniel Clark of
Bloomfield, Nancy and Stephen
Vosko of West Bloomfield, Shari
and Ron Jansen of Florida; son Dr.
Howard Streit of Illinois; grandchil-
dren Richard Clark, Benjamin, Leah
and Sara Streit, Michael, Andrew
and Jeremy Vosko, Jamie, Jared and
Ronnie.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

Park, died July 16.
She is survived by her brother,
