SUZANNE CHESSLER Special to the Jewish News ois Pincus Cohn leads a visitor to a cabinet in the middle of her Birmingham gallery, pulls out a huge drawer and removes a box that is almost as bi g. Slowly and carefully, Cohn opens the box, takes out a giant-sized book and then finds her white gloves. The gallery owner dons the hand accessories for function, not frills. The book, The Still Life, is by popular artist Donald Sultan, whose signed, limited edition includes prints that can be removed, framed and displayed. There are several such prints in the book, which lets owners rotate the artworks for room versatility. Careful handling prevents even one fingerprint from getting onto the borders of the colorful, realistic images.
