A gallery owner creates a marketplace for others' beautiful things.

Birmingham gallery,
pulls out a huge drawer and
removes a box that is almost as

Slowly and carefully, Cohn
opens the box, takes out a
giant-sized book and then finds
her white gloves. The gallery
owner dons the hand accessories for function, not frills.
The book, The Still Life, is by popular artist Donald
Sultan, whose signed, limited edition includes
prints that can be removed, framed
and displayed. There are several
such prints in the book, which
lets owners rotate the artworks
for room versatility. Careful
handling prevents even one
fingerprint from getting onto
the borders of the colorful,
realistic images.
The book is a rarity, but so
are many of the items Cohn
showcases at Artspace II, where
her main occupation is the reselling
of fine art for museums, galleries and pri-
