With its wide diversification of

and eat in the Oak Park area has
brought many smiles to the faces of
Orthodox people in the entire metro-

STILL IN HER ROOM at
Waltonwood of Royal Oak, is the two-
pedal Steinway piano use Schild
brought from Dusseldorf in 1938, when
forced to leave Germany ... She only
plays at night to herself now, since Ilse
suffers from arthritis of the finger joints
and doesn't hit the keys up to her old
standards ... Since moving to Detroit in
1941, the Temple Beth El member
taught piano in this area for 54 years.
"BY THE POWER vested in me as
`Baby Brother,' and even more impor-
tantly by the power of your intense love
for each other, I now renew Rabbi Jacob
Segal's pronouncement of 50 years ago
and reaffirm your commitment as hus-
band and wife. You may break the glass
— AGAIN — and kiss your bride."
Judge Stephen Cooper, 46th District
Court, said the vows at an intimate
brunch recently given for Marge and
Jerry Robbins.
Away from the ceremony, Steve told
of the Sweet Sixteen party for a young
girl known then as Margie Cooper ...
"Although he didn't know the guest of
honor, Jerry went to the party with a
friend. He followed his mother's advice
and brought a box of candy. Little did
he know that the way to a Cooper girl's
heart could be found in a box of
chocolates. Marge came with another
guy, but went home that night escorted
by Jerry. Her eyes filled with stars and
hearts, their romance began.
"Chief among the courtship ritual
highlights was Jerry's enthusiastic shar-
ing of Margie's responsibility to wheel
her baby brother in the stroller for an
hour daily. No wonder I've always
liked him." P1
