The Jewish Library Association of
Metropolitan Detroit will hold its annu-
al summer meeting and dessert recep-
tion 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at
Congregation Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses. Participants will report on the
34th annual convention of the
Association of Jewish Libraries held
recently. Rachel Erlich, director of the
libraries and media center at Temple
Israel, presented a workshop on Judaic
and Hebrew software.

Na'amat Luncheon

Charlotte Edelheit has been appointed
chairman of the Na'amat USA, Greater
Detroit Council
Spiritual Adoption
Luncheon; it will be
held at noon
Thursday, Aug. 5,
at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
Edelheit has
served as president
Charlotte Edelheit of Council of
Metropolitan
Detroit Jewish Women International; is
a past president of League of Jewish
Women's Organizations; served for two
,) years on the National Volunteer Week
Committee of the United Community
Services and served on the board of the
Jewish Community Council- for five
years.
Funds raised by the program provide
care for 25,000 children in day care
classes, day/night homes and vocational
igh school training facilities for
teenagers.
A musical program will be presented
by vocalist Galina Feldman, who will be
accompanied by Adel Kozadayev. Their
program will consist of songs in Hebrew,
Russian, Yiddish and English.
An invocation will be given by Ruth
Leemon Miller, membership vice presi-
dent. Anthems will be led by Pauline
Robb, accompanied by Florence Citarel.
There is a charge for the luncheon in
addition to a required contribution.

48237. Reservations must be made by
