Representatives from United
Parcel Service awarded a $5,000
check to the Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan Detroit in
honor of Noah Zucker, 7, of West
Bloomfield, at the Olympic Sports
Legacy Reunion held June 16.
The event celebrated the two-
year-old relationship between
UPS, the U.S. Olympic
Committee and the JCC. That
relationship began with a gift of
equipment for sports, recreation

and aquatic programming.
Staff from the JCC's Jimmy
Prentis Morris and D. Dan &
Betty Kahn buildings nominated
children in kindergarten through
sixth grade who are active in JCC
sports and recreation programs,
their school and the community.
Noah Zucker was chosen from 20
nominees.
The $5,000 check will go
toward the purchase of athletic
equipment.
