Longtime Detroiters Ruth and Louis
Redstone are celebrating their 60th
wedding anniversary. A family celebra-
tion is planned for August when their
son Daniel Redstone and his wife
Barbara of West Bloomfield will be
joined by their son Eliel Redstone and
his wife Linda Haley, who reside in
California. Grandchildren Adam,
Carly and Ariel Haley Redstone will
also join in the celebration.
Ruth Redstone was active in many

community organizations, most
recently serving on the board of the
Hebrew Free Loan Society. Before
retiring, Louis Redstone was a promi-
nent Detroit architect whose work
included the original Somerset Mall,
the Manufacturers Bank Operations
Center, the Michael Berry
International Terminal and the Jewish
Community Center in West
Bloomfield, as well as numerous shop-
ping centers and banks.
