Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Shane Packard was called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
June 26, at
Congregation
B'nai Moshe.
Shane is the
son of Paula
and Richard
Koscik and the
brother of
Francesca and
Liliana; he is
also the grand-
son of David
and Chana
Schane.
Shane is a student at Walnut
Creek Middle School in Walled
Lake and also played soccer for the
school. He enjoys snowboarding,
football and hockey.
Shane is a gifted artist who likes
music and chatting online. As an
after-school job, he babysits.

Jason Eli Miller was recently called
to the Torah on the occasion of his
bar mitzvah at
Rockdale
Temple in
Cincinnati,
Ohio. Jason is
the son of for-
mer Detroiters

Jason is a seventh-grade honor
student at Sycamore Junior High
School in Cincinnati where he plays
bass clarinet in the school band. He
enjoys baseball, water skiing, snow
skiing, skateboarding, camping
activities and animals. This summer,
Jason will attend Michigan State
University's College of Veterinary
Medicine Camp as well as Camp
Tamarack.
