"Neiman Marcus is proud to salute
the Children's Charities, said Ariela
Shani, general manager of Neiman
Marcus.
Forget the gold buttons with inter-
locking initial C for fall 1999. The
chic new fashions presented at the
show hardly displayed the signature
Chanel look. Instead, the styles
ranged from hip-hugger pants to
leather skirts and slinky looks. The
earth tones, jewel shades and metallic
shimmering fabrics look perfect for
the last fall of the millennium.
Jean Dubin, Suzy Gershenson,
Millie Pastor, Carolyn Pope and
Carole Larson Wendzel were chair-
men of the event. Some of the other
supporters spotted in the crowed
included Cheryl LaKritz, Deena
Lockman, Bobbi Charnas, Shelley
Roberts, Franne Greenebaiim,
Loretta Polish, Lois Shaevsky, Elyse
Essick, Jo-Anne Nosan, Pat Rosen,
Susie Pappas, Bev Liss, Lois
Gerenraich, Adrienne Ruby, Harriet

Rotter, Carolyn Levin, Lila
Silverman, Arlene Kass,
Marcia Gershenson, Helen
Katz and Cheryl Brandt.
The next major event for the
Children's Coalition is Revvin'
With Ford on Friday, Aug.
20. For ticket information,
