Ever Consider Creating an Endowment Fund2

aybe you're like most people who
believe endowment funds are only for
some people.

M

Not any more. We're pleased to introduce
The Jewish Life Fund, an exciting way to
create affordable, permanent endowments
to benefit our Jewish community.

Here's how it works:

Establish a tax-deductible fund in your
name (or as a gift) for as little as $3,000,
payable over three years. You then get
to designate the interest your fund earns
each year to one of six categories:

• The Sherman Family Israel
Experience Fund providing
opportunities for young people to go
to Israel.

• College Life Fund enhancing Jewish
life on campus

• Dr. Milton and Lois Shiffman Day
School Tuition Assistance Fund
providing affordable opportunities for
all children

• Detroit Congregational Initiative
to improve/enhance Jewish life
through our congregations

• Mandell and Madeleine Berman
Family Education Fund supporting a
rich array of family education and
enrichment programs

• Nora Lee and Guy Barron Partnership
2000 People-to-People Fund
connecting Detroit with the
people in our partnership region in the
Central Galilee

Over - time, you can add to your fund in
small amounts (for tributes, or other
occasions) or larger contributions. Each
deposit . into your endowment fund brings
you closer to a designated level* that is -
recognized with a beautiful keepsake.

So think about it. You don't have to be
worth a million to feel like it.
