Col. (ret.) and Mrs. Harold Bankrier,

formerly of Southfield of Tallahassee,
Fla., announce the marriage of their son
Matthew Richard Bankrier to Leslie
Brooke Hannah, daughter of Dr. and
Mrs. Frank Hannah of Shelby, N.C.
The wedding took place recently in
Shefby. Officiating were Rabbi Milton
Schlager and the Rev. George Rolling.
Leslie chose her sister Wendy Wright,
as her matron of honor. Her sister
Allison Hannah, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sarah C. Bankrier, sis-
ter of the groom, Sehr Jangla and Emily
Nesmith. Honorary bridesmaid was
Louise Tannfords.
Matthew chose as his best man
Adam W Harless. Groomsmen includ-

ed B.J. Lewis, John Ford, Thomas
Hannah, brother of the bride, and
Chuck Quick.
Grandparents who participated were
Mrs. Ruth Averbuch and Ms. Celia
Feldman, Matthew's other grandparents
are the late Harry Averbuch and Morris
Bankrier. Leslie's grandparents are Mr. ,-/
and Mrs. G.R. Carpenter and the late
Mr. and Mrs. Homer R. Hannah.
After a honeymoon to the South
Pacific, the newlyweds will reside in
Dublin, Ohio, where Matthew is an
industrial engineer with
Consolidated Stores in Columbus,
Ohio; Leslie is an associate develop-
ment technologist with Nestle R&D
in Marysville, Ohio.

Fortgang 50th

Hilda and Harold Fortgang celebrated
their 50th anniversary by going on the
Michigan Miracle Mission III to Israel
followed by a trip to Las Vegas. The

trips were given by their children,

Harriet and Greg Orley, Julia and Dr.
Jack Kaufman, and loving grandchil-
dren Ryan, Emily, Michael and Erin.
