ally. Bibi's bat mitzvah presentation
was titled "Behaloteka: A Secular
Interpretation: Numbers Chapters 8-
12." She recited chapter 11, verses 4-
15 and chapter 12 in Yiddish.
Bibi is a seventh-grader at Norup
Middle School in Oak Park. Her hob-
bies include dance, softball, volleyball
and reading. She will attend Camp
Tamarack for her seventh year. Her
mitzvah projects included helping
with children at the Huntington
Woods Recreation Center and visiting
with residents at a nursing home.
Bibi is a member of the Woods
Strivers, a community service group in
Huntington Woods that does work in
the metropolitan area. The food-bas-
ket centerpieces from Bibi's celebra-
tion were donated to Yad Ezra.

pitalized children through Hadassah.
Lindsay Erin Roberts will become a
bat mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Friday, June 18.

Saturday, June 19, at

carting, computers, helping her
brother and sister and working with
the elderly.
Marcia's mitzvah projects includ-
ed visits to the Elan Village nursing
home, JARC homes (helping to pre-
pare for Jewish holidays) and help-
ing out at Yad Ezra. In honor of
Marcia's bat mitzvah, she made a
donation to Yad Ezra as well.

Temple Israel on
Saturday, June 19.
