Eilu v' Eilu can help. You can enjoy stimulating adult Jewish study
at home or in your car, in the form of audiocassette tapes which
we lend out at no charge. Tapes feature lectures from the Jewish
Theological Seminary, United Synagogue, UAHC, 'Drisha Institute,
CLAL-The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership,
and Kolel Centre for Liberal Jewish Learning. We also have tapes
of many Eilu Eilu classes held right here in Metro Detroit,
featuring Rabbi Aaron Bergman, Ruth Bergman, Nehama Glogower,
Seth Korelitz, Rabbi Danny Nevins, Rabbi Elliot Pachter, Aviva Silverman,

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL FOR THE

HIGH HOLIDAYS

This year, the month of Elul, the four-week period leading up to Rosh
Hashanah, begins on the night of August 11. According to tradition,
this is a time for personal reflection, spiritual renewal, and rededication,
in anticipation of the Days of Awe. Eilu v' Eilu will once again offer its
community-wide adult Jewish learning series, "Elul - A Time to
Prepare." Classes and other special learning events will be pre-
sented at various times and venues throughout metro Detroit, led by
Eilu v' Eilu faculty. Details to be announced.

This series will be offered in both a daytime and evening format.
Rabbi Glogower's classes are university-level seminars for students with
text study experience. Texts used in class are in the original Hebrew and
Aramaic. All material is translated into English by Rabbi Glogower.
