Mr. Masserman earned a law degree from Wayne State University and practiced investment and corporate law in downtown Detroit for over 60 years. He and his wife operated First National Credit Bureau. He enlisted at age 39 in the Navy during World War II and .was injured in the Pacific theater. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans and B'nai B'rith and started and led the men's forum discussion group at the Oak Park Jewish Community Center. Mr. Masserman is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Dorothy Masserman; daughters Sally Simon of Southfield, Roberta Floyd of Southfield; grandchildren Linda and Dan Berger, David Floyd, Debra and Kirt Snoek, Amy and Kenny Ben-Ezra, Amanda Simon; great-granddaughter Caitlin Berger.
