Allweiss 50th

Zyga and Irma (Burg) Allweiss of-
West Bloomfield are married 50 years
on Friday, June 11. Zygie and Irma
will celebrate at a parry for family and
friends this weekend at Ginopolis' on
the Grille in Farmington Hills. Their
children are Esther and Richard

Tschirhart, Irene and Larry Wise, Jann
Davis, Elizabeth Allweiss and Michael
Allweiss. Their grandchildren are
Erica and Jennifer Davis, Alison and
Julianna Tschirhart, Sarah Allweiss-
Rosenbaum and Renee Wise.

Silverman 90th

Frank Silverman, a former Detroiter

and former head of credit and collec-
tions for Sinai Hospital now residing
in Charlotte, N.C., was honored on
his 90th birthday. A luncheon was
held on June 5 at the Wyndham
Garden Hotel, Novi. The affair was
hosted by his children, Susan and

Richard Banks and Shirley and
Arnold Silverman. Guests included his
brother Samuel Silverman, grandchil-
dren, great-grandchildren, sisters and
brother-in-law, nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends from Michigan
and eight other states.
