Lauren Sara Strickstein will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
June 12, at Congregation B'nai Moshe.
Lauren is the daugh-
ter of Debbie and
Alan Strickstein and
sister to Ryan
Strickstein. Proud
grandparents are Rita
Foon and Irving and
Anna Strickstein.
Lauren is dedicating
the chanting of her haftorah to the
memory of her late grandparents Betty
"Rusty" Strickstein and Edward Foon.
Lauren is a student at Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. Her favorite
activities include dance, swimming, ski-
ing and drawing. Lauren's ambition is to
become a clothing designer in New
York.

Daniel Aden Keller will celebrate his bar
mitzvah on Saturday, June 12, with
Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring Shule.
Daniel is the son of
Laurie Brown and
Eric Keller. He is the
grandson of Albert
Brown, the late
Adeline Brown and
the late Miriam and
Harold Keller of
Brooklyn, N.Y.
Daniel is a seventh grade student at
Roeper school in Bloomfield Hills,
where he has enjoyed participating in
forensics. He also enjoys Japanese anime,
music, writing, drawing and computers.
Daniel is a proud member of Screen
Actors Guild and AFTRA. His mitzvah
projects included singing to the Jewish
residents of a nursing home and volun-
teering at Yad Ezra.

Carri Leigh Farber will celebrate her bat
mitzvah on Saturday, June 12, at
Congregation Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses. Carri is the
daughter of'Lori and
Mark Farber and the
sister of Halli and
Cody. Proud grand-
parents are Fritzi and
Marty Rott and
Dolores and Leonard
Farber. She is also the
granddaughter of the late Harold Rieger.
Carri is an honor student at Walnut
Creek Middle School in Walled Lake.
Carri loves singing, acting, dancing and
playing the piano. She is part of her
school's competitive choral program. She
also enjoys snow skiing and water skiing.
For her - mitzvah project, Carri will be
volunteering at Beth Abraham's day
camp this summer.
