um. A Great Day
To Celebrate
The heat was on, but that
didn't bother the hundreds
who enjoyed Israel Fest.
:

n Sunday, a girl named Sharrone
Harwood found out what it's like to
be an entire country.
Her right hand poised atop her head (the
Galilee), her right leg resting shakily on her left
(Tel Aviv), Sharrone of West Bloomfield was a
living statue of the State of Israel.
"And here," said Esty Avrahami, who with a
great deal of patience and enthusiasm was
teaching students how to play a map game of
Israel, "here is Jerusalem." At Sharrone's chest,
she affixed a piece of tape to a small card
showing Israel's capital city. "This is the heart."
