A ALS ART SHOW An art auction to benefit ALS of Michigan (Lou Gerhrig's Disease) was held recently at Big Daddy's Parthenon in West Bloomfield. The Heisman Fine Art Gallery of Philadelphia provided the artwork. The event was hosted by Jody and Barry Rogow, in memory of Jody's father, Jerry Klask. "ALS of Michigan is supported. solely by private donations, and the generosity of people like the Rogows is the reason we are able to provide critically needed services to the ALS community," said Sue Burstein Kahn, executive director of ALS of Michigan. More than 250 patrons attended the event, which raised more than $25,000. Some of the supporters included Bob and Dani Probert, Rick - Cantor Howard Glantz, Terran Leeinis, Leonard Colton, Rabbi Efry Spectre and Cantor Larry Vieder were all instrumental in bringing the Sons of Sepharad concert to Adat Shalom.
