New Board
For Young Israel

The election meeting for Young
Israel of Oak Park recently rook
place. The following were selected to
serve as officers, board members and
delegates to Metro Council for
1999-2000: president, Ruvi Singal;
chairman of board/first vice presi-
dent, David Barth; gabbai/second
vice president, Aaron Kleid; treasur-
er, Judah Isaacs; financial secretary
and fund-raising chairman, Issac
Katz; recording secretary, Margery
Klausner; corresponding secretary
and membership chairman, Esther
Sherizen.
The past president is Joseph J.
Greenberg. The new board members
are Elie Frances, David Tanzman,
Dr. David Ungar, Andrew Weil, Dr.
Joseph Weiss. Delegates to the
Metro Council are Elie Frances and
Issac Katz.
The installation of new officers
will take place on Saturday, June 5.
There will be a kiddush given by the
officers and board following the ser-
vices.

Jerusalem Prize and

European Rabbis.
He will discuss
"Y Jew K — The Continuity of
Judaism in the Technological
Revolution of the 21st Century."
The program will air from noon-
1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at the
Max M. Fisher Jewish Federation
Building, 6735 Telegraph,
Bloomfield Township.
Ohr Somavach Detroit will host
this program and buffet luncheon.
