Rosenblum, Department of Neurosurgery chair- man at Henry Ford Health System, and Gail Warden, Henry Ford Health System president and CEO, will be hon- ored at the Metro Detroit Israel Bonds campaign at a tribute dinner, 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek. At the dinner, Dr Mark which is being Rosenblum held under the auspices of the Professional Health Services Pivision, the two men will receive the Maimonides Award in recognition of their contributions to the medical profession, the State of Israel and the metro Detroit com- munity. Rosenblum is a member of Temple Beth El and recently returned from his first visit to Israel. Warden, in support of Israel Bonds, chaired the 1992 Professional Health Services Division annual dinner. Rosenblum was a professor of neurosurgery a: rhe University of California-San Francisco Medical Center. He founded the Brain Tumor Section for the American Association of Neurological Surgery and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is a published author in the area of brain tumors and infections. Rosenblum was named Department of NeuroSurgery chair- man at Henry Ford Health System in 1992. He is a professor of neuro- Randi Simko of Farmington Hills (without hat) recently returned from Israel where she participated in Hadassah. 's select Young Women's Mission. Chosen for her outstanding leadership skills, she joined 25 other young women frOM across the country for a program of seminars, study and sightseeing: The trip includ- ed a cooking class at Hadassah College of Technology ii r surgery at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, director of the Henry Ford Midwest Neuro-Oncology Center, which he initiated in 1993, director of the steering committee for the Josephine Ford Cancer Center and co-ordinator of the Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute. Warden joined Henry Ford Health System in 1988. He Gail Warden had served as presi- dent and CEO of Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound in Seattle and as executive vice president of the American Hospital Association. In 1997, Warden was appointed to the Federal Advisory Commission on Consumer Protection and Quality in the health care industry. He serves on the board of the gov- erning council of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Science. His community endeav- ors include director of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and trustee and director of the Citizens Research Council of Michigan. He earned the American College of Health Care ExeCutives 1999 gold medal, its highest honor. In 1992, he received B'nai B'rith International's National Health Care Award.
