Teens
ages 13-16
will kick off summer ar
the Jewish Community Center's Teen
Night event 6-9 p.m. Wednesday,
June 16, at Camp Ruth. on the
grounds of the D. Dan & Berry Kahn
Building in West Bloomfield.
The event will include volleyball,
swimming, outdoor games and inflata-
bles, a DJ and a kosher barbecue dinner.
Admission is S2, except for Jewish
youth group, Jewish Center and
Maccabi Club members, who will be
admitted free of charge. For reserva-
tions and inforamtion, Call Michelle
Tarrance, (248) 661-7683.
The JCC's Beginner East Coast
Swing Dance Class, offered by the
Center's Jewish Life and Learning
Department, is open to teens ages 14-
18. The class will be taught by Gary
Kravitz, 7-8 p.m. Thursdays, begin-
ning June 17, at the D. Dan & Betty
Kahn Building of ti-.e ;CC. Cost of
the class is 528 for Center members,
S35 for non-members.

New membership rates have been
created for teens at both JCCs.
Teens who are paid-up members of
a recognized Jewish youth group may
join the Center for S36. Teens who
are not members of a Jewish youth
group may join for $72. The teen
membership goes into effect
NVednesday, June 16, at the Teen
Night event at Camp Ruth.
The membership is available to
individuals ages 11-18, in sixth-grade
and up. Youth group membership
must be paid in full to apply for JCC
membership. The rare is the same at
both the West Bloomfield and Oak
Park locations and valid for one year.
