Meretsky-Selik

Amy Lynne Selik and Steven David
Meretsky were recently married at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Rabbi
Steven Weiss and Rabbi Jeffrey
Ablesser, Cantor Chaim Najman and
Cantor Sidney Rube officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Suretta
Must and Bruce Selik of Bloomfield
Hills. The groom is the son of Susan
Meretsky of Windsor, Ontario, and
the late Ronald Meretsky.
The maids of honor were Rachel
Satz and Jennifer Silver. Bridesmaids
included Rhondi Keller, Dana
Meretsky-Katzman, sister of the
groom, Dr. Stacey Moss, Michelle
Rosenfeld and Melissa Rudin.
Groomsmen were Eric Bronstein,
cousin-of the bride; Gary Brudner;
Joseph Katzman, brother-in-law of the
groom; William Mechanic; Adam

Mock; and Jeff Selik, brother of the
bride.
Honoring the memory of Amy and
Steven's late grandfathers Merle
Bronstein and Butch Meretsky, their
talleisim were incorporated into the
main chuppa. A second chuppa using
Amy's late grandfather Merle
Bronstein's second tallis was carried
down the aisle by Amy's cousins
Jason, Robert and Melissa Bronstein .
and Martin Bronstein, great-uncle of
the bride.
Amy and Steven were blessed to
have Ellanore Bronstein and Rose
Selik, grandmothers of the bride, also
participate in the ceremony. A special
honor was given to Harvey Bronstein,
uncle of the bride.
Following a honeymoon in Aruba,
the couple reside in Windsor.
