sports, especially golf, basketball and
baseball. He also enjoys playing the
guitar, performing magic and collect-
ing stamps and coins.
Courtney Erin Finn will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Friday,
May 28, at Temple Shir Shalom. She
is tht daughter of Risa and Mark

Bret Philip Malkowski of Northville
will be called to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah at

Saturday, May 29.
He is the son of

vah projects, he worked at Yad Ezra,
assisted his senior neighbors with yard
chores and plans to donate part of his
bar mitzvah money to the Humane
Society.
Hilary Felice Wagner of West
Bloomfield will become a bat min\ ah

Southfield on Saturday, May 29.

Hilary's great-uncle Irvin Strub
from Lincolnwood, Ill., and her
cousin Ariella Goldring from Ramat

addition, Hilary's aunt Renee Silbert,
her uncle Robert Simon and her
cousin Danielle Rapp will have parts
in the service.
Hilary is a seventh grade student at
Detroit Country Day School in
Beverly Hills. She was a finalist in her
school's Oral Language Festival
Competition. Her interests include
piano, tennis, soccer, skiing and read-
ing. Her mitzvah projects consisted of
sewing dolls for the Hadassah project,
working the last two summers and
this summer at Shaarey Zedek's Camp
Berman and recently visiting some
Jewish residents at a nursing home.
Carly Rebecca Yellin will become a
bat mitzvah on Friday, May 28, at
Temple Kol Ami.
Carly is the daughter

daughter of Gloria
and Marvin Kahn,

late Reuben Yellin.
Carly is a sev-
enth-grade honor-
student at Abbott Middle School in
West Bloomfield. She enjoys dance,
choir and theater arts and has partici-
pated in the forensics competition at
the University of Michigan.
Carly's mitzvah projects included
assisting in various tzedaka projects in
the Kol Ami religious school and
helping with other temple activities.
Michael Colton will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
May 29, at Adat Shalom Synagogue.

Sandra plays on the school's tennis
and volleyball teams. She competed in
the state finals of the Hershey's Track
and Field Competition. Her interests
include art of all kinds and travel.
Sandra has enjoyed her association
with JARC this year and has volun-
teered at Yad Ezra and served meals at
a homeless shelter.
Joshua Cooper Hirschland will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, May 29, at Temple Kol
Ami. Joshua is the son of Meryl and
David Hirschland and the brother of
Hannah. He is the grandson of
Evelyn Polk, Henry Hirschland,
Violet Cooper and
the late Harold
Cooper.
Josh is a seventh
grade student at
West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield
Hills. He enjoys run-
ning, reading, hock-
ey, playing trombone and playing
video games.
Josh's mitzvah projects included
working on Temple Kol Ami's
Housing the Homeless project for
SOS, assisting teachers at Kol Ami's
Shabbat School and helping with a
clothing drive for Pontiac
Lighthouse.
Daniel Urbach Warsh will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 29,

Hillel Moses.
Daniel is the son
of Deborah and
Richard Warsh and
the brother of
Jonathan. He is the
grandson of Paula
Urbach, the late Kurt Urbach and
the late Harriet and Hugh Warsh.
Daniel is an honor student at
Hillel Day School in Farmington
Hills, where he participates on the
tennis and cross country reams. His
interests include cars, biking, read-
ing and computers. Daniel has been
a volunteer at Yad Ezra for several
years and has been involved in
Hillel's Dor L'Dor and JARC pro-
grams. He plans to continue his cel-
ebration with family and friends in
Israel this summer.
