Lenore and Dr. Stanley Dorfman of
West Bloomfield are pleased to
announce the engagement of their son
Michael Randy Dorfman to Wendy Jill
Cohen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Cohen of West Bloomfield
and Mrs. Marlene Cohen of Livonia.
Wendy earned a bachelor of arts
degree in psychology from Wayne State

University. She completed a master's
degree in social work from Wayne State
University. Michael earned a bachelor
of arts degree in political science from
the University of Michigan and is in
his third year at the University of
Detroit-Mercy School of Law.
A July wedding is planned at
Temple Israel.

Rachel Waxman and Judd Rosenberg
were recently married at the Congress
Theatre in Chicago. Rabbi Neil
Zuckerman, New York City rabbi and
childhood friend of the groom, offici-
ated.
The bride is the daughter of Doris
and Harold Patrick of West
Bloomfield and Lester Lunsky and

Joan Beck of Chicago. The groom is
the son of Susan Rosenberg, Alan
Rosenberg and Barbara Perlmutter.
Ilene Kahan, longtime friend of the
bride, was the matron of honor. The
best man was Glen Lowy, longtime
friend of the groom.
Rachel and Judd make their home
in Chicago.
