Marilyn Luebeck will head the slate of
officers of the Institute of Retired
Professionals who will be elected at the
group's annual meeting 5:15 p.m.
Wednesday, May 26, at Congregation
Beth Shalom.
Other officers nominated are David
Hoptman, Diane Pomish and David
Silberg, vice presidents; Helen Resnick,
secretary; Harold Friedman, treasurer;
and Julius Harwood, Sydelle Isaacs,
Clare Berkowitz and Saul Blackman,
governing council members-at-large.
Larry Wolfe, Jewish Community
Center president, will be the installing
officer. Jordan Isaacs will be discharged
as president after serving two one-year
terms.
Entertainment will be Lost in the
Stars, a Broadway revue featuring Tracey
Atin and Joe Cardinal. Soprano Tracy
Atin is cantorial soloist at Congregation
Beth El in Windsor. Joe Cardinal, a
tenor, currently stars as the narrator in
the Windsor Light Opera production of
Blood Brothers.
The Institute for Retired
Professionals is culminating the celebra-
tion of its 13th anniversary. Open to
retired or semi-retired individuals 55
years of age and older, IRP is a peer-
learning organization that runs 25 dis-
cussion groups meeting weekly or semi-
weekly at both the D. Dan and Betty
Kahn and Jimmy Prentis Morris build-
ings.

Food Parcels
Are Prepared

The Volunteer Network and Women's
Campaign and Education Department
of the Jewish Federation will help pre-
pare food parcels at the Food Bank of
Oakland County the morning of Friday,
June 4.
Volunteers will meet at 9:15 a.m. at
the Max M. Fisher Federation Building,
share a continental breakfast and carpool
to the Food Bank. Women are invited t
bring their friemds.
Sheri Schiff is chair of the Women's
Volunteer Network; Danny Munson-
Camiener is associate chair. Beverly Liss
is president of the Federation Women's
Campaign and Education Department,
and Susie Jacobs is vice president.
