EVELYN ROSENTHAL, 79, of West
Bloomfield, died May 9.
Mrs. Rosenthal was a secretary for
the Teamsters. She was also a member of
B'nai B'rith and a past president of the
Louis Marshall Chapter and a member
of ADL.
Mrs. Rosenthal is survived by her
sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and
Denise Rosenthal of West Bloomfield,
David and Fern Rosenthal of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren Jonathan,
Jeffrey, Randy and Peter Rosenthal;
brother and sister-in-law Irving and
Ruth Vosko of Farmington Hills.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Arrangements by the Ira Kaufman

HAROLD SIEFMAN, 79, formerly of
Southfield, of Las Vegas, died May 11.
He was a member of the Jewish War
Veterans and a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice;
daughters and son-in-law Karen Chester,
Valerie and Mark Brody, Lori Cameron;
grandchildren Adam, Matthew and Sean
Brody, Lance, Sarah and David Chester.
Interment in Nevada.

JEFF R. SIEGEL, 46, of Huntington
Woods, died May 13.
He is survived by his son, Kelly Siegel
of Huntington Woods; parents Edwin
and Rachael Siegel of Huntington
Woods; brother and sister-in-law Harry
and Mindy Siegel of Birmingham; sister
Joanne Trachtman of Bloomfield
Township.
Chapel services at the Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions may be

of drug and alcohol abuse or to the

SANFORD SMITH, 73, of Saginaw,
died May 11.
Mr. Smith was president of
Meadowbrook Insurance Group of
Saginaw. He was a member of Temple
B'nai Israel of Saginaw, the B'nai B'rith,

Saginaw Country Club and Bay City
Country Club. His Masonic member-
ships include Saginaw Lodge No. 77,
F&A_IVI, the Scottish Rite Bodies-Valley
of Bay City and the Elf Khurafeh Shrine
Temple of Saginaw.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne,
sons Richard Alan (Candy) Smith of
Saginaw, Steven Mark Smith of Royal
Oak; daughter Nancy Faye (James)
Miller of Crescent, Iowa; grandchildren
Heidi (William) Vitti of Highland Park,, i_
Ill., Bethany Anne Miller and Katherine \
Rose Miller of Crescent; brothers-in-law
Frank M. (Frumeth) Polasky of Saginaw
and Robert (Annie) Schiff of Oakland,
Calif.; sister-in-law Linda Pearl of
Farmington Hills and Elaine Smith of
Florida.
He was the brother of the late
Morton Smith.

LORRAINE TANNIS, 80, of
Southfield, died May 13.
Mrs. Tannis was an insurance under-
writer. She was also a member of
Hadassah, Na'amat and the Jewish War ,—'
Veterans Auxiliary.
Mrs. Tannis is survived by her hus-
band, Thomas Tannis; brother and sis-
ter-in-law Dr. Sidney F. and Bernadet
Velick of Salt Lake City; sister-in-law
Betty Tannis.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the Jewish War Veterans.
