FROM PARENTS, BELOVED JOSEPH AND MARY LESHMAN, WHO PASSED AWAY
YEARS AGO AND ARE ALWAYS WITH US FOREVER MORE. BELOVED PARENTS,
(RENOWNED BAKER), JOSEPH AND MARY LESHMAN.

JOSEPH WENT TO FRANCE TO BECOME A BAKER. JOSEPH AND MARY LESH-
MAN OWNED THE RENOWNED DEXTER BAKERY ON DEXTER FOR 40 YEARS.
JOSEPH WAS HIGHLY RESPECTED AND MARY STOOD BESIDE HIM. SHE WAS
AN ECCELLENTWIFE, MOTHER, AND GRANDMOTHER JOSEPH I FSHMAN WAS
WAYAHEAD OF HIS TIME. HE PASSED AWAY AT THE EARLY AGE OF 45 AND LEFT
AWONDERFUL WIFE AND TWO SONS. HIS WIFE MARY CARRIED ON THE DEX-
TER BAKERYAND THE RESPECTABLE NAME AND SEVERALYEARS LATER SOLD
THE BUSINESS. MARY LOVED HER HUSBAND JOSEPH, MOTHER, FATHER, SIS-
TERS AND BROTHERS. LOVED HER SONS AND LOVED HER GRANDCHILDREN.
HER FAMILYWAS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. SHE LOVED SPEAKING ABOUT
JOSEPH AND WHAT AWONDERFUL HUSBAND AND FATHER HEWAS AND TOLD
HER GRANDCHILDREN, SEVEN GRANDDAUGHTERS RENEE, LESLIE, JODY,
ROBIN, MONQUE, TIFFINY, AND MIA THAT HE LOVED US AND WAS ALWAYS
WITH US AND SHE KEPT THE RESPECTABILITY. SHE WAS EXTREMELY LOYAL
AND HONEST AND LOVING. SHE LIVED FOR HER CHILDREN AND GRAND-
CHILDREN WITH ALL HER HEART AND SOUL SHE ALSO LOVED HER GREAT
GRANDCHILDREN.

LAWRENCE I FSHMAN WAS A NATIVE DETROITER FOR 50 YEARS. HE MOVED
TO THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE STATE OF FLORIDA AND RESIDED IN PLAN-
TATION FLORIDA. HEWAS THE MOST HONORABLE, RESPECTABLE, LOYAL MAN
TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT HE LOVED SO DEARLY. HIS WORD WAS HIS
BOND. WE LOVE YOU. AS LAWRENCE WOULD SAY, "I HOPE YOU HAD AN EN-
JOYABLE TIME. THERE WAS A LOT OF FOOD, A LOT OF TALK AND MEMORIES
AND I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED YOURSH E: THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU ALL."

Margate, Fla., died May 14.
Mrs. Kushner is survived by her hus-
band, Gordon Kushner; son and

Kushner of West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren Lisa Kushner and Steffie Kushner;
brother and sister-in-law Goldie and
Morris Rose; brother-in-law Ernie
Hirschbein.
She was the dear sister of the late
Sylvia Hirschbein, the late Fred
Burnstein and the late Dorothy
Rosen Geller.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

LAWRENCE LESHMAN, 65, of
Plantation, Fla., died May 8. Mr.

Leshman was a retired mortgage broker.
He is survived by his wife, Betty
Leshman; daughters Robin, Monique,
Tiffany and Mia; grandson Shane
Shagrin; brother Mel Leshman; moth-
er-in-law Dorothy Caplan; sisters-in-
law and brother-in-law Shila and
Mickey Morganroth, Ilene Tina
Caplan.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

RALPH LEVIN, 89, of West
Bloomfield, died May 15.
Mr. Levin was a real estate execu-
tive. He was a member of B'nai
B'rith Oakland Century Lodge and
the Mason Perfection Lodge. He was
also a member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek and the Anti-
Defamation League.
He is survived by his wife, Edith
Levin; daughters and sons-in-law Carol
and Irving Wiseman of West
Bloomfield, Joan and Dr. Sheldon
Simons of Farmington Hills, Susan and
Dr. Burt Ellis, Judi and David Hinds,
Deborah and Joel Schwartz; son and
daughter-in-law Dr. Joel and Debra

Hershman; grandchildren Larry
Schreiber, Lisa Schreiber and fiance'
Nick Philko, Jacob and Ben Ellis,

MERRILL VICTOR MAX, 65, of

Sequim, Wash., died May 1. Mr. Max
was formerly of Detroit and La Mirada,
Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Sandi;

dren Justin and Leah Simmons, Kurtis
Max; sisters and brothers-in-law Resa

FRED MAYSELS, 56, of Goshen,
N.Y., formally of Detroit and
California, died May 14.
Mr. Maysels is survived by his wife,
Susan Maysels; daughters Daniella and
Rachael Maysels; brother and sister-in-
law Audrey and Herbert Saperstein.
He was the loving father of the late
Kendra Maysels.
Services and interment in Goshen.

Alzheimer's Association. Placed at the

SEYMOUR MILGROM, 73, of

Walled Lake, died May 12. Mr.
Milgrom was a major appliance manages
er with Sears for 1
39 years.
He graduated
from Detroit
Institute of
Technology with
a business admin-
istration degree
and was presider!
of the Kappa
Sigma Kappa fraternity.
During World War II he was in the
infantry with the First Division at
Normandy. After suffering a shrapnel
wound, he returned to the front lines
two weeks later. He was recipient of the
