"This feels like a homecoming,"

So Lewin began
a crusade that he
describes as a
"Captain Ahab-
style, single-mind-
ed pursuit."
Fortunately, his

successful than

denced by Lewin's
current job as the
Tigers' TV play-
by-play announc-
er.
His almost life-
long preparation
began 25 years
ago in Rochester,
