Even if children range

from 2 months to 20 years,

with a little flexibility

everyone can participate

in Jewish family events.

Hints For Keeping
Children Involved In
Family Activities:

• Plan events with
families who have
children of similar
ages
• Don't assume your
older children don't
want to participate
• Make your chil-
dren's friends wel-
come in your home
• Share in each
child's individual inter-

.

The Goldmans

concentrate on
enjoying many
different activities

as a family.

n the West Bloomfield
home of Howard and
Linda Goldman, age is a
varying thing. Their daughter
Tracie is 1 8; David is 15,
and their youngest son
Bradley is 8.
But for this family, age is
not an obstacle to keeping
everyone involved in Jewish
activities.
"We don't just assume
that one of our kids isn't
interested in participating
just because of the age dif-
ference," Howard explains.
