engagement of their daughter Emily
Beth to Raphael Green. Raphy is
the son of Louise and Lynn Fisher
of Columbus, Ohio, and Jonathan
Green and Wendy Brown of
Riverside, Calif.
Emily earned her bachelor of fine
arts degree at the Rhode Island
School of Design. Raphy received
his bachelor of arts degree at Brown
University. Emily is an illustrator
and Raphy is an artist and musician.
They have collaborated on an ani-
mated children's television series.
A September wedding will be
held in Malibu, Calif.
Jaron-Crasson
Bobbi and Roger Gottfried of
Birmingham and Michael Jaron of
Oak Park are delighted to announce
the engagement of their son Steven
Jaron to Brigitte Crasson, daughter
of Vivianne and Jackie Crasson of
Paris, France.
Steven received his doctorate in
French literature from Columbia
University and will hold a research
appointment at the Centre National
de Recherche Scientifique in Paris.
Brigitte holds degrees in history, law
and business from the University of
Paris, the Sorbonne and Haute
Ecole de Commerce. She is working
in marketing and journalism.
A fall wedding is planned in
Paris.
