Chapin and Abram Guyer.
Jonathan is an honor student at
Hillel Day School in Farmington Hills,
where he plays on the basketball team.
He enjoys guitar, collecting Star Wars
memorabilia, drawing, reading and
camping.
His mitzvah projects include work-
ing with JARC residents and packaging
food at Focus Hope.

Michael Jason Feldman will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 15, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Michael
is the son of Dr.
Steven and Sandy
Feldman and
younger brother to
Daniel.
Proud grandpar-
ents are Maxine and
Ted Jackson and
Ben and Dorothy
Feldman. He is also
the grandson of the late Edith Feldman.
Michael is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. He enjoys playing tennis,
soccer, skiing, in-line hockey, basketball
and golf.
As part of Michael's bar mitzvah, he
completed Adat Shalom's 13 mitzvot
program. He especially enjoyed spend-
ing time helping at the Housing the
Homeless project at Adat Shalom.
In Michael's honor, his family and
friends will continue the celebration
with an evening party on Sunday at
Hotel Baronette.

Jay Marlon Pliskow will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
May 15, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
He is the son of Rob and Rhonda
Pliskow, brother of
Brent and Sharee
and grandson of
Sanford and Helen
Pliskow. Jay is also
the grandson of the
late Albert and
Sophie Rochkind.
A seventh-grade
student at Norup
Middle School in
Oak Park, Jay plays the trumpet in both
the school band and the jazz band. He
also studies piano and enjoys biking, in-
line skating, swimming and learning
new yo-yo tricks.
After Jay's bar mitzvah celebration,
he will donate Judaic Beanie Buddies
from his centerpieces to a Jewish orga-
nization that helps children.
