To help coax and guide children through the experience of going to the hospital,
hand crafted rag dolls made by volunteers for Hadassah are distributed to young
patients. Pictured is Beverly Apeh president of the Greater Detroit Chapter of
Hadassah, introducing a doll to a child being treated at the Mother Child Center
Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. With her are former presidents of the chapter and
now members of the national board: Audrey Sobel Annette Meskin and Susan
