IRVIN SCHLUSSEL
Akiva
Schlussel is a member of National
Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa, is
class treasurer, co-president of Bnei
Akiva, member of choir, basketball,
student council vice president, captain
of Model U.N. debate team and won
best delegate award at Yeshiva
University Model U.N. He will attend
Yeshivat Shaalvim in Israel, then the
University of Pennsylvania's Wharton
School of Business.

ELIZABETH SCHNAAR
North Farmington
Schnaar is a member of Phi Beta
Kappa, National Honor Society and
captain of tennis. She is a tutor for
elementary and high school students,
and is corresponding secretary of
Youth Federation of Temple Israel,
where she will graduate high school.
She won a Regents Scholarship and
will attend the University of
Michigan.

BETH SCISSORS
Walled Lake Western
Scissors is a member of National
Honor Society, Science Club, German
Club, Quiz Bowl and forensics. She
researched molecular biology and
DNA electrophoresis at the Karmanos
Cancer Institute through the edu-
mentor program and is an active vol-
unteer at Hospices of Henry Ford.
She tutored middle school students in
math. She will study pre-medicine at
Northwestern University.

ARI S HWAYD ER
Harrison
Shwayder is a member of National
Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa,
Robohawks robotics team, captained
Science Bowl and TEAM+S teams,
editor in chief of literary magazine
and member of the tennis and soccer
teams. He attended Interlochen Arts
Camp for six summers and is princi-
pal violin of the Equilibrium Quartet.
He will attend Harvard University.

LAUREN SILVER
Walled Lake Western
Silver is a member of National Honor
Society Phi Beta Kappa, forensics,
pompon and Youth in Government.
She has danced competitively and
placed in national competitions, and
is a published poet. She will attend
the University of Michigan.

ERIC SIMONS
West Bloomfield
Simons is a member of National
Honor Society Phi Beta Kappa, a per-
cussionist in symphony and marching
bands, and won a music and essay
contest award for drumline. He is a
student tutor, is working on the
senior video and is involved in the
EduMentor Science Program and
BBYO. He will attend the University
of Michigan College of Engineering.
