RENEE RUBINSTEIN
Andover
Rubinstein is a member of National
Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa, Care
and Share service club, a forensics
state champion and captain of varsity
tennis. She volunteered at Jewish
Home and Aging Services and will
graduate from Shaarey Zedek high
school. She will attend the University
of Michigan.

BORUCH SAKS
Akiva
Saks is a four-year member of choir
and the basketball team. He won the
Oak Park Youth Assistance Award,
U.S. Achievement Award and
National Science Merit Award. He
reads Torah at several congregations
and is a Daniel Sobel Friendship
Circle volunteer. He will attend
Wayne State University.

JARED SAFRAN
Roeper
Safran was a National Chemistry
Olympiad finalist, attended National
Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine
and won the Kiddish Cup. He was a
member of track, soccer and year-
book. He will graduate Shaarey Zedek
high school. He will attend Vassar
College.*

ZAHAVA SAMET
S.A.A. Beth Jacob
Samet is Phi Beta Kappa and won a
Wayne State University Presidential
Scholarship. She served as choir head
for the school production, is active in
the Chesed program, Jewish Family
Service and youth group leadership.
She will attend Bnos Chava seminary
in Israel.
