STEPHANIE KARDON
Berkley
Kardon is a member of National
Honor Society, student government,
captain of varsity volleyball and div-
ing, and earned Scholar Athlete, Bear
of the Year, All-League and All-Area
recognition in both sports. She was
Berkley's homecoming queen and first
runner-up in the state pageant com-
petition. She will attend Albion
College.

JODIE KAUFMAN
Cranbrook Kingswood
Kaufman is editor in chief of the stu-
dent newspaper, receiving the excel-
lence in journalism award her junior
year. She is president of Gold Key ser-
vice organization, a four-year varsity
ice hockey player and co-captain this
year. She coordinates class community
service projects and helped organize a
school-wide diversity program. She
will attend the University of
Michigan.

GEOFFREY STORCHAN

CARLY KAUFMAN
North Farmington
Kaufman was active in Temple Israel's
religious school, on class board,
National Honor Society and varsity
cheerleading. She serves as class vice
president and attends classes at
Schoolcraft College. She will attend
the University of Michigan.

DARREN KING
Country Day
King won National Merit and
University of Michigan Regents schol-
arships. He is a member of the Cum
Laude Society, news editor of the
school newspaper, plays violin in
orchestra and is on Quiz Bowl. He
has volunteered for three years at the
Holocaust Memorial Center and is
board secretary of the Jewish
Genealogical Society of Michigan. He
will study biochemistry at the
University of Michigan.
