Consultant is Marion Mohl, Women's League parliamentarian, trainer, consultant. Marion Mohl Mohl has been a sis- terhood president, syna- gogue vice president, northern New Jersey branch president and national vice president of Women's League. She has chaired the adult education, publi- cations, field service and Keruv com- mittees and the 1996 biennial conven- tion. She is a charter member of Kolot BiKedushah, a group of women capa- ble of leading services and reading Torah and Haftorah portions. The conference will begin at 9 a.m. . at Congregation Shaarey Zedek B'nai Israel Center with a panel discussion on "Domestic Abuse in the Jewish Home" followed by a tour of Detroit's historic Jewish sites. A dinner honoring valued volunteers will begin at 7 p.m. at Shaarey Zedek. Those being honored are Adat Shalom — Linda Warner; Beth Abraham Hillel Moses — Estelle Smith; Beth Israel Ann Arbor — Sue Adler; Beth Israel Flint — Mimi Weisberg; Beth Shalom — Gladys Goldsmith; Beth Tephilath Moses — Pam Bartolone; B'nai Moshe — Eileen Stahl; Congregation of Moses — Sylvia Blum and Vivian Pollack; and Shaarey Zedek — Cindy Shaffran. Marion Mohl will give the keynote address. On Monday, May 17, the conference will begin with the induction of Kolot BiKedushah honorees at Shacharit at 8 a.m. followed by a Torah study with Shoshana Ben-Ozer. Interactive work- shops on membership, Torah fund, and ways and means followed by lunch, milestone and Torah fund awards ceremony. The conference will close with "A Look to the Future" with consultant Mohl. Pam Bartolone and Marcia Tanzman are conference chairmen. Linda Lublin is president of Michigan Branch. All paid sisterhood members are members of Women's League for Conservative Judaism. Members are invited to attend all or part of the conference.
