To Our Loving Mother
ALICE KAUFMAN
Mommy Dear,
This is our first Mother's Day without you and like everyday its very sad.
You were the best mother anybody could have. You were the mother that
every child wishes were theirs. I remember all the good times we had togeth-
er, and that's why when I see a mother and daughter together I get such a
sad and lonely feeling.
People say "Remember all the good times." That's all I have to remember.
That's what hurts so much. They were all good times.
When I was small you watched over me like a hawk, never leaving me
with anybody but nanny. If I sneezed the doctor was right there. You always
worried about me. Then I got older, got married and you still worried, only
now you worried for me and Terry.
No matter how old we were, you were always there for us. You always
gave of yourself, never asking for anything but for us to be happy and
healthy Ma, you were always so soft and gentle, a real beautiful mother
inside and out. A real lady. Even the day you left us you still looked beautiful
as always.
Our hearts ache so much for you. You are truly loved and missed. We
miss seeing you everyday. And I miss picking up the phone all the time to tell
you about everything going on — all good things happening or bad. And to
ask your wonderful advice, which along with everything else was always the
right thing.
There is no love like a mother's love and it can never he replaced or
taken away. Terry loves you like a mother, like you loved him like a son and
that says a whole lot for you.
Thank you for everything. Thanks for being my Mom. You will forever
be loved very dearly in our hearts Mommy Dear.
All our love forever.
Patty and Terry

Our Angel
