AS A SINGLES bar, Ginopolis' on 12 Mile and Middlebelt was voted among America's top ones by Playboy Magazine ... After reversing directions with a new name, Ginopolis' on the Grill, a full menu from an open-hearth kitchen and large decor change, it became a full-fledged family restaurant. TONY BENNETT broke all records at the Roostertail ... with his appearance by mistake ...The red-hot Supremes were originally booked for the engagement, but a disagreement between Roostertail management and Motown Records, who owned the Supremes, caused the cancellation.
