the catalog reaches about 600,000
readers, whose names are gleaned
from purchased lists and referrals. The
merchandise is delivered by United
Parcel Service and expediting firms,
with a price guarantee and free ship-
ping for orders over $150.
A40-page version of the catalog,
with three bilingual sales consultants,
was launched in Vietnam. Its residents
have an unusually strong interest in
artificial nails and beauty aids in gen-
eral, giving that country a large part
of the industry.
