She is the granddaughter of Esther Dresser and Marjorie Katz, the late Joseph Dresser and the late Larry Katz. Jackie is an honor student at Norup Middle School in Oak Park. She enjoys tennis, acting, singing, playing piano and alto sax. Jackie has participated in a variety of mitzvah activities, including helping seniors at Menorah House celebrate Chanukah, charitable holi- day baking through Hadassah and volunteering at Temple Emanu-El's Yom Kippur food collection and at their Purim celebration. David Mitchell Yudowin will become bar mitzvah on Saturday, April 10, at Beth Israel Congregation in Ann Arbor. Rabbi Dobrusin will lead services. David is the son of Charlene and Ronald Yudowin of Ypsilanti. David is the grandson of the late Ida and Sam Oventhal of Windsor, and the late Esther and Arthur Yudowin of Monroe. David is a student at Scarlett Middle School in Ann Arbor. He enjoys computers, sports (especially golf and basketball), and video games. He is also a member of Beth Israel's youth group. His mitzvah projects included: food gathering for the hungry, deliv- ering Purim baskets to seniors and burying prayer books at the cemetery.
