The Oct. 4-18 trip will include Jewish sites in Krakow, Warsaw, Prague, Budapest and Vienna. At 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, the JCC's Cruise Alaska trip aboard the ship Norwegian Wind will be dis- cussed. Mishpocha (family) has been central to Jewish life throughout the ages. Jewish Theological Seminary faculty members will explore family ques- tions at JTS Elderhostel 1999, "Mishpocha and Millennium: the American Jewish Family Confronts the 21st Century," Sunday-Friday, April 25-30, at the JTS campus in New York City. The program will explore the his- tory of the Jewish family through a variety of sources, including classic Jewish text (Bible and Talmud), modern writings in history and sociology, Jewish geriealogical mate- rial and film. Participants will also tour points of Jewish interest in New York City. Elderhostel offers senior citizens an opportunity to engage in a course of Jewish study with JTS faculty.
