kitchen staff, prepared another of the
dinners that has people talking ... This
was together with Challone wines
served with each food course.
For hors d'oeuvres, there was a
stuffed portabello mushroom with
shrimp sauce (pinot blanc), lobster
consomme (Chardonnay), Cyprus
salad, fillet of beef encroute in a
Madeira sauce (Merlot) and swan on a
pond dessert (specialty dessert wine).
The next dinner at Pike Street is
called "April in Paris," on Monday,
April 19 ... a tribute to the late, great
Auguste Essoffier ... The menu is oys-
ter stew and fish quenelles, beef
tournedos, fillets de sole, salad of
mixed greens, noisettes of lamb with
Madeira sauce and classic peach melba
... Cost of the dinners is $45 ... The
optional wine package is $25 ...

Eight soups are available daily
